AUSTRALASIAN QUILT CONVENTION 2009

On Saturday, I caught a train to Melbourne and spent the day at AQC.

This year saw a change of venue to the beautiful and historic Melbourne Exhibition Building which has been magnificently restored.

I didn't do any classes but just enjoyed the ambience of the building and looking at the vendor stalls. Life has been emotionally stressful with a very ill elderly family member as well as a very hectic start to the working year. So it was good to just to wander and look.
