Explaining my Heritage
From time to time we get asked about Indiana and what kind of breed he is.
The following is his story in his words.
"To those who know me I am Indy or Ind. But I also have another name, my birth name that was given to me by Dr Truda Straede. I am Nintu Gracious Guy.
Who is Dr Truda? She is the "Mother" of a cat breed called Australian Mists. We are the first Australian cat breed. We can have spotted or marbled coats.
Many years ago now, my Mum and Dad saw some Australian Mists on an Australian TV Show and they were captivated by our beautiful coats and our personalities.
So they did some research and then they went to a cat show and a lady there showed Mum and Dad some of my relatives.
So they did some research and then they went to a cat show and a lady there showed Mum and Dad some of my relatives.
Dad got in touch with Dr Truda and she had one chocolate spotted male kitten left. This was exactly what they were hoping for.
So a couple of weeks later, Mum and Dad flew to Sydney and brought me home to Melbourne.
Since then, I have lived an amazing life surrounded by much love. And in return I've demonstrated much love and affection through my desire for interaction and the company of my people.
As someone once said to my Mum," That cat knows he is someone!"
And all the while I've experienced that life starting first in Sydney, then Melbourne, and I flew to Seattle, then back to Melbourne again, before going on to Brisbane.
If you want to know more about me, I have a blog:
