LET'S GO TO THE FARMER'S MARKET

Today the Farmer's Market is on at the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm park.

 It's a short ride on the Citycat. Normally the Husband goes off on a bike ride and meets me there but we woke to showers, so we went together.

The plan is to get early and beat the crowds. Getting up early is easy when you live with the chocolate cat. He loovvveess to get everyone up early!!

Soon we were all ready to go.

This is what we came back with....

 

The pawpaw or payaya is a red flesh one. Am looking forward to trying it.

Many of the stall holders have sample trays so you can taste before buying. The pineapple similar to what we bought was really sweet.

We also bought these to have with coffee back at home - raspberry and white chocolate. They were loaded with raspberries and white chocolate bits. Mmmm.

A good way to start the day......
