Well this weeks challenged proved to be the perfect way to agitate my DH. For as long as I have known him, DH has owned a T Square, the perfect thing for T and Square. He once used it to draw engineering drawings. A lost art now I believe. For years and years and years he stored it in sheds, garages and spare rooms, never having a use for it. It moved from Brisbane to Melbourne with us, it went into storage when he was in the Middle East, it moved through various Melbourne residences. It somehow managed to get to the USA with us and then it moved to Brisbane. Through a Townhouse and a unit, but it didn't make it to the new apartment! A couple of months ago, when he had to downsize some of 'his stuff' to move into the apartment he discarded it.
So this week all I have heard about is how "David G will probably have one in his shed and every one will say it was a good choice" and "I told you it would eventually come in handy for something!. I could have even painted it blue for you."

So instead we are left with other things to use. Square Tupperware. DH hates my cupboard full of Tupperware. He thinks if it can't either go in both the dishwasher or the microwave, it needs to join the T Square. But I was able to triumphantly point out that I have yet another use for Tupperware. And some of the square lids are blue too. That's two categories with Tupperware. Square and Blue.
On our balcony, with a great view over our Neighbourhood we have a square table, and squint your eyes and imagine hard enough and the glass top looks blue too.
Also in our neighbourhood, just 300 metres or so from our apartment is the Terminal for the City Cats and Cross River Ferry. A great way to beat the peak hour commute to and from work.
And this week, there was an added bonus for travelling on the river....On Thursday morning, there was a dolphin frolicking in the Brisbane river!
