Sunday Lunch on the Deck
A Summer Favourite.
This is a long way from the traditional Sunday lunch that I grew up eating in the late 60s and early 70s. My Mum was a very good cook and in fact that was how she made a living and every Sunday for lunch we had roast chicken. This was of course before KFC and Red Rooster and the like came to town.
These days, a fruit and cheese platter is a firm Summer favourite with DH and myself. If it is an evening meal at the end of a hot Summer's day, we will add various cold meats and perhaps prawns.

I'm enjoying winter right now, but this does make me long for summer evenings on our deck.

You asked about a quilt on my blog - I think Barbara used the Disappearing 9 Patch pattern to piece this one.
