E E E It's Scatterday Again and the Letter is E
This week's catergories are Plant World, White and Terrifying. These photos were done literally on the run as we were packing to spend time in Brisbane where we have purchased an apartment and the BIG MOVE was there waiting for us.
So we before we left Sunbury early on Monday last, it was a quick search for things that met the criteria.
So from the PLANT WORLD......presenting an Eucalyptus tree. ( sorry, I don't know what variety.

This tree is growing on the nature strip in front of our house. It's been there for about 2 years, planted by Hume City Council as the grip of drought tightened and we were placed on even tighter water restrictions.
To quote Dr Phil, " What were YOU thinking?".
We have done our best to care for it and out of all the trees in our street that the Council planted that day, it is doing very nicely. The magpies like to hang out there and we enjoy listening to their warbling and no, they never attack us.

A touch of green in a drought parched lawn!
So while I may have this beautiful tree I am also grateful that the Council did not leave me an elephant - white or otherwise - to care for. In the white category, even in this electronic era, there is still a need for ENVELOPES.

And lastly, TERRIFYING!
This Summer in Melbourne has been Hot, Hot, Hot. The heat has been exhausting and that has meant the airconditioning has had quite a workout. So while I am embracing the cool air of my environment, I am terrified of the next ELECTRICITY bill that will arrive in an envelope that I will save the plant world with by recycling! (I wish recycling the bill would make it go away too!)

Looking for U and found E. Good choices. Those envelopes were handy for a few people. We had an electricity account when DD1 was a young teenager which was $720 - that was terrifying. Stopped her washing her hair twice a day which helped!
