Getting Ready for Earth Hour

As Earth Hour approaches, we decided to check our candle supplies. We use our deck throughout the summer for evening dining so we tend to use candles on a regular basis. But as there will be no lights anywhere tonight in our home, we will need more candlelight than usual. This meant a walk down to the storage area.

A visit to our storage area in our Brisbane apartment complex is always a voyage of discovery. Today we found several contenders for tonight's use. These are the results of shopping the After Holiday sales when we lived in Seattle.

The lantern is solar powered and as well as providing light, it is also a bug zapper. These are available in Australia. We got ours from Bunnings about a year ago.
