Easter Monday 13 April 6:20pm.
It has rained steadily here in Brisbane all day...along with the showers we have had throughout the Easter weekend. But today the rain has come frequently and heavy. Not a day to do much outside.
Brisbane is on track for its wettest April in 20 years.
Already this month, the River City has recorded 147.6mm and the Airport 165.2mm, well above the average April rainfall of about 90mm.

DH and I headed out early in the day to check out the redevelopment of the old Police Barracks into a retail/cinema complex. Not a great deal there although we got some great deals on seafood. DH is very happy with his dozen oysters for $6 as well as the salmon steaks he is going to be cooking on the BBQ for dinner. (It's under shelter)
After lunch, we went over to the Queensland Museum and had a look at the exhibition The Courage of Ordinary Men: Three Stories of the Victoria Cross..
