Busy Days
From what I'm reading, the trend is not so much resolutions but choosing either one word or a couple to be the theme for one's year. While I haven't made a decision on that yet, if I was going to choose a couple of words to describe our summer holidays this year, it would along the lines of organise, cut and throw. At this time of the year, we normally do have a little time away but the events over the past 12 months have meant that our attention and energy have been elsewhere and as a result, things around the house and garden have been a bit neglected. So the yard has been filled with the sounds of the chainsaw revving, the mulcher chewing and the hedgetrimmer cutting a swathe through everything in its path. Things are starting to look so much better.
Inside the house, I have the most organised pantry and linen cupboard!
Last glimpse of Christmas.
Christmas stays out in our house until January 6 and so today was the day it all went away. It took most of the day but at the end, there was still space in the cupboard! Yay.
Thank you to my wonderful husband who has played a very big role in the all activity. Although secretly, I think he has relished the opportunity to play with all his "toys".
In between all that, I have been trying to get an UFO finished. As always, I realise I am fortunate to have "expert advice" close at hand!

I'm working on UFOs too and like you have an 'expert' to oversee proceedings. (Even thought it's a bit hot to have a quilt and Oliver on my lap in the evenings at the moment!)
I have made that Santa stitchery too .. one of my favourites.
